The Ontario Federation of 4 Wheel Drive recreationists (OF4WD) are a Provincial umbrella organization comprised of 4×4 clubs and individual members. Wes and Trisha had a chance to talk with 3 long standing members of the OF4WD. There was a variety of topics, including trail maintenance, newbie days, Camp NL, GMRS radio updates and more. Their mandate is to represent the interests of the 4×4 community and ensure the long term sustainability of 4 wheel drive recreation in the province of Ontario. They  work to achieve this through user education, advocacy work and cooperative trail management and maintenance programs.

The Central Ontario Off Road Jeep Club loves all Jeeps! Members range from veterans with modified Jeeps to new Jeep owners that just bought their Jeep. Did you know that there is an off road driving and recovery school in Ontario?  We talked with Shaun and Cathy about the Get A Grip Driving School as well as the Storm Trooper Cruisers, who help nurses and doctors get to the hospitals in blizzards. Just a heads up, Shaun had a battle with cancer and his voice is a little different and sometimes hard to hear in this interview. However, it is worth listening to this interview. The off road knowledge these two have is incredible.
