Life changing
I’ve been meaning to write a review since I started listening to Maude’s podcast. Maude’s conversation with Erin of Love Sew Modern was life changing for me.
My understanding of ADHD was limited to the cliche of hyper young boys. I didn’t know how it could present other than that. Erin’s willingness to share her story with Maude’s sensitive and caring support and questioning started my journey to learn about ADHD in adults.
I’ve done lots of research while waiting for an evaluation. Just last week I got a preliminary diagnosis from a mental health nurse practitioner.
Thank you so much for sharing your own story and providing a gentle place to share their struggles and successes.
Brandy’s Interview!!
What a great interview! So nice to hear Brandy’s extended story! I have not missed any of her podcasts, live to listen to her and have been very fortunate to meet her! I have insurmountable imposter syndrome, especially when I went to the SAQA convention in Toronto this April! I think it totally hindered me from being myself, meeting people and completely enjoying myself! I have met Brandy a couple of times and she is lovely! Some of your tips on morning and evening routine were great inspiration for me! I have mastered the morning and evening hygiene routine, LOL, do forget to eat often, now to get moving more, and getting off the iPhone before bed! Thank you very much for a wonderful informative and humbling interview! Knowing I are not the only one out there with issues helps a lot! I love podcasts as quilting/sewing is kind of solitary except if you belong to a guild or group! But mostly you are home alone! I am a very social person so that hinders my art! Thank you again! Love to both of you!! Pat Davies, Cornwall,ON
