What Went Wrong - Gun Safety w/Larry Zanoff

What Went Wrong, one of the best podcasts out there, full stop, that also happens to be about the film industry, did a below the line interview with the great Larry Zanoff, an armorer in the biz, where they discussed gun safety.
I highly recommend listening to this episode to ANYONE working in the film industry. A lot of great info. And if you haven't seen it, check out the Local 600 Gun Safety Video with none other than.....Larry Zanoff!
Finally, if you like these folks, check out their podcast What Went Wrong on all sorts of platforms. All the episodes are fantastic but if you are looking for somewhere to start, Roar, Island of Dr. Moreau, or anything with James Cameron will hook you right in.

Such an inspiration!

As a student and an aspiring operator, I was always looking for a way to learn more about being an operator and what that really meant. The Op was just what I needed and after months of listening to the podcasts, looking through the website, and watching the breakdowns, I’ve never been more excited to work in the business. Dave and all the operators on The Op have given me endless knowledge that has helped me on and off set and continue to inspire me every day. Thank you Dave and keep up the amazing work!

Film Education and The Op

The Op is a must-use resource for every film student and educational institute involved in the study of film production. The Podcast Interviews, the Library of videos from master filmmakers, the Images in an extensive photo gallery, the Musings of quick tips, the Words that are the jargon, and the Breakdown of scenes in the art and craft of Shot Design are all combined to bring together a complete resource for students to understand the professional world of Visual Storytelling. The Op’s relevancy makes it a mandatory go-to for all my Film Students at SCAD

Perfect for students

As a film production professor and former camera assistant, I can very confidently say that this podcast and it’s accompanying website is a treasure trove for those committed to working as a filmmaking professional.
