    Boomer & Gio Podcast

    Boomer & Gio Podcast

    Hour 1:

Boomer had an incident at the coffee machine this morning that started his day off on the wrong foot. Pete Schwartz had ranch dressing poured on him at a restaurant on Long Island. The Giants have an important game this late in the season for the first time in a long time. These are huge games for the future of Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley. Boomer said if the Giants lose this week at home to the Commanders ‘they’re toast’. Peter Schwartz is in for Jerry and we start with a problem Peter and his family had at a restaurant on Long Island. He had ranch dressing spilled on him. And now the Levittown Chamber of Commerce is involved. Peter has audio from USA’s victory over Iran in the World Cup. Matt Martin got into a fight seconds into the Islanders game last night. His 100th career NHL fight. In the final segment of the hour, Bills dealing with ‘mystery illness’. The Jets could end up first in the AFC East this week. Defensively the Dallas Cowboys destroyed the Vikings. Can we expect the same from the Jets defense this week?

    Hour 2:

What’s the deal with the Netherlands? We explore this and talk about the upcoming World Cup game between the US and the Netherlands. Peter Schwartz returns for an update but first Boomer receives a voicemail from the Jets asking Peter to do the coin flip vs the Lions. Peter’s schedule is booked and Gio cannot believe he won’t cancel his plans. Peter has sound from USA beating Iran in World Cup soccer. In the final segment of the hour, we took a few calls reacting to Peter saying no to the Jets and yes to his long snapping son.

    Hour 3:

We continue our two main topics of the day: Peter Schwartz saying no to the Jets offer of a coin flip and the US in the World Cup. Boomer also talked about ‘free range parenting’. The opposite of a ‘helicopter parent’. Peter returns for an update but first he tells us he’s going to the Islanders game on Friday for his son’s birthday. Peter has audio from the US beating Iran in the World Cup. The Knicks had an offensive explosion last night in beating the Pistons. We also talked about Derek Jeter and the YES network. Nobody thinks that’s happening. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about NFL QBs who have immediate respect when they walk in a room. BDE if you will. Brass balls perhaps. Does Mike White have that? You don’t want a quiet sit in the corner type of guy like Daniel Jones was in the beginning. A caller wonders how Browns fans will be able to cheer for Deshaun Watson when he starts again this week.

    Hour 4:

Deshaun Watson returns this week and ten or more of the victims plan on attending the game. Gio wonders if the broadcast will show the victims in the stands. Peter returns for his last update of the day and he tells us Zach has been talking to him too much in the newsroom. Peter starts with the US beating Iran in the World Cup. Peter said he gets overwhelmed with attention so he is exhausted this morning. In the final segment of the hour, we talked a little Knicks basketball. They will end up somewhere in the middle. No shot at winning the conference and no lottery picks.

Love the show and the podcast ,

Love This Show

These guys are the best in the business. I can’t wait each day to listen & watch the show. All of these guys work so well together.Jerry needs more recognition. He is so go at what he does. The three work great as a team. Al and Eddie are a big part of this great show. You can tell that they genuinely like each other. Please don’t mess with this group of guys.

awful again ,

This guys should just move over to outkick

If you just want a recap of right wing radio talking points then Boomer is your man. As far as Gio, he can not say anything unless there is a bowel movement involved or throwing someone at the company under the bus to deflect. I know this will do nothing, but I am sure that CBS would love to hear how these two mail in middle of the right road opinions they run on. Just waiting for a Imus moment with these two, or maybe it will be the producer.

nyc commuter 500 ,

Great for 15 year olds

Basically these guys are the “cool guys “ from high school. They know it all. Love putting down everyone. Smug. Condescending. Experts in every sport from GM to coaching to playing. At least Boomer knows football. The rest of the crew (outside of Jerry and Cilo) are non athletic turds. Gio has no business “hosting” the show. Complete empty suit

Also get ready for Boomer and Gio to not so subtlety tell you how big time they are. Attending great concerts, high end dining, golfing at word class courses, drinking expensive liquor, putting down a few grand on bets, all with important people or celebrities. Always hanging with their “buds” I wonder when Boomer is going to grow up
