    Rattlesnake Vaccine

(Update July 2013: We just got back from a road trip to Texas.  Before we left, I got our dog, Saffron, vaccinated against rattlesnake venom.  I’m surprised how many people still don’t know there’s a rattlesnake vaccine available for dogs (and horses)!  It doesn’t completely protect them—you still must immediately get them to a vet … Continue reading "Rattlesnake Vaccine"

Wonderful Podcast!

I have been enjoying the Pet Project podcast for about a year and have learned a lot of good, helpful information for life with my dog! (The podcast also has good information for cat owners, too.) The host describes everything in a clear way that is easy for listeners to understand, which makes it easy to carry out her ideas. Her topics are applicable to everyday life with pets, so no one will be left out and every podcast is definitely worth a listen!
