Dr. Crystal Morrison Shares A True Story of Rape & Racism on The Village Vision
Today's episode demands our courage and empathy as we delve into a story marked by racial injustice within the criminal justice system—a young Black woman's harrowing experience of rape by an affluent, middle-aged white man, and the subsequent battle for justice in a system steeped in bias.
**Trigger Warning:** This episode contains discussions of rape and racial injustice. Please listen with care, and prioritize your mental and emotional well-being.
The WHY is always part of this podcast. WHY did I want to share this story:
First, I want to shed light on the deeply ingrained inequalities that plague our society.
Second, if I have any voice, I want to use it.
And Third, I honestly don’t know what to do or how to create real action or how to really lock arms with other victims to share our truth.
Dr. Crystal G. Morrison is a highly regarded executive advisor, strategist, leader, scientist, tech entrepreneur, and co-founder of Meerkat Village, a software company dedicated to improving outcomes for children with special needs by building collaboration and communication among adults providing care. Follow at TheVillageVision.com and on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
