Customer Reviews
A constant stream of well researched evidence based books.
This podcasts makes finding interesting and accurate non-fiction on a plethora of different subjects easy. It makes my life so much easier!!
PLEASE let your guests speak!
I just listened to this podcast for the first time. Dr Ashley Shew was a fascinating expert guest, but she rarely got the chance to delve into her ideas in depth. Instead, she was constantly interrupted by the host, who chattered on at great length, injecting tangentially relevant personal anecdotes and facile analogies. It was really rude and disruptive to both the guest and the audience. I agree with much of the host’s perspective, but wouldn’t spend my time listening to her views rather than her invited experts’. I value informative podcasts and find the roster of past guests intriguing, but don’t think I can deal with the frustration of hearing them in “ conversation” with such an annoying interlocutor.
Lose the VOCAL FRY!
The subject matter is great but Cara’s extreme case of “vocal fry” makes it a hard to listen to. Perhaps a speech therapist could help her be the best version of herself.
