One of my favorites
I really love this one! It’s honestly probably my favorite on here which makes it frustrating for me to have to dock a star. The past couple episodes I listened to some of the Audio is so obviously sped up x2 that it’s super annoying and certain things are impossible to understand because it’s SO fast. The one I’m currently listening to and referring to is the Fabio episode. There is an entire clip I can’t understand no matter how many times I rewind because it’s SO fast. It’s a great show, no need to speed it up on editing. Also certain recordings are also impossible to understand, I wish when they play recorded audio they would say “I cast you couldn’t understand that it said:” 20:20 does that with its episodes and it’s really helpful. Other than that it’s great!
Extremely loud ads
Please match the podcast and the ad audio levels. About give me a heart attack every time one comes on
Unpleasant to listen to
Erin Moriarty’s voice is not meant for this - it’s very unpleasant and distracting. Actually, it’s not just her voice; it’s also the cadence of her speech. She just sounds so affected. I thought Keith Morrison was annoying but now I’ve grown to appreciate him. That is not going to happen with Erin, sadly….
Dateline is still a better podcast but when I’m all caught up on those this is a decent second option (better than 20/20).
