Dr. Piering received his black belt in Taekwondo and during that journey he learned the action philosophy of Taekwondo. Inspired, Dr. Piering wrote a book that brings together his personal psychology of excellence with the Taekwondo philosophy of action. This book is called "Master Mental Toughness."

Captivating interviews and inspirational advice!

I love this podcast! The interviews are well thought out and expertly conducted - with really interesting guests. He asks the right questions to draw out interesting stories from these masters of their sport. I find listening to be entertaining and engrossing, but also educational.
I started listening because I have an interest in martial arts, but am finding I'm learning things that relate to all aspects of my life. Dr. Piering has a way of explaining how to achieve excellence in a way that is very tangible - concrete things I can think about or do that will make me perform better. I look forward to each new episode!
