Episode 78: Let Old Debts Be Forgot (w/ Liza Treyger & Julia Olson)

Liza Treyger (The Degenerates, Late Night with Seth Meyers) and Julia Olson visit Jon and Luke's pal's NYC studio for a deep and pretty high (on Liza and Luke's part) dive into spending money vs. saving. Later, Julia laments her days as a conservative Swedish Christian and Liza goes after Offset and anyone who smokes on a plane. Also, people who mock extroverts via Instagram meme get some shade.

Episode 76: The Hero We Deserve (w/ Justin Michael & Eric Martin)

Luke welcomes Bad Reception co-creators Justin Michael (Buddy Thunderstruck, Adam Ruins Everything) and Eric Martin to the studio for an epic throwdown over whether or not it's insane that Eric has the "read receipt" function enabled on his texts. Is he making life more difficult than it needs to be, or should he be celebrated as a crusader for upholding honesty and truth in our unwritten social contract? Later, Eric explains how the time he was most wrong got him fired movie trailer narration job, and Justin has some choice words for people who hate on L.A.

In our 75th episode, Ryan Williams (The Late Late Show with James Corden) and Jon Gabrus (Big Mouth, Hot Date) return in an attempt to settle our Tom v. Tom challenge once and for all and definitively answer the question: which actor has a better catalogue--Tom Hanks or Tom Cruise? It's an all-out war, with a conclusion you'll never see coming. Tom and Tom? We hope you're listening on a bench, or while dangling from a helicopter. This. Is. 75.

Special Thanks submish:

I’m going to Florida with my wife later this month for a week to spend thanksgiving with her family. The town her parents live in is 30 mins away from Captiva, a tropical touristy island on the gulf coast. After the holiday I suggested we spend a night or 2 out there since it’s beautiful and I’ve never been. I sensed my wife’s trepidation at the idea of telling her parents we don’t want to sleep at their house for the ENTIRETY of our stay. Is it selfish to sneak in personal pleasure on this thanksgiving trip? Or are the tropical destinations adjacent to my wife’s hometown forever off limits without her family there.
