Well, we finally did it: the obligatory quarantine podcast. This is a podcast in which four recent film grads struggle to find meaning and purpose... in the films they watch, of course. We'll keep an eye on recent releases, but don't be surprised if we branch out and talk about all things movies!

The Pod Returns
It's Happening Again. The pod is rearing it's ugly head right in time for the end-of-the-year shebang. This week, we kinda just shoot the shit. Will we talk about movies? Maybe. Will it be movies you want to hear people talk about? Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe we'll talk about Tubi Original Celebrity Exorcism (2021). F**k you.

Old Review
Well, it's the podcast season finale. Hopefully. We'll pick things up once life settles down a bit for the cohosts- or perhaps you can expect random catch-up episodes here and there. In the meantime, we check out M. Night Shyamalan's latest, Old. And we're pretty positive on it!

The STAR WARS Episode
It's been teased all summer, but it's finally here: we talk Star Wars. Brooke has been watching through them for the first time, Davidson has seen them all a million times over, and Caleb just had gum surgery so he tries not to speak too much (very difficult for him). Listen for Brooke's wild takes galore, including hating yoda, loving Jar Jar, hating the original trilogy, and more.

2021 Year in Movies (so far!)
Come on in, make yourself at home in this intimate 1 on 1 discussion of the movie year so far. Friend of the show Pete joins the pod, Caleb lectures about whatever obscure foreign cinema he's found, and everybody has a nice time.

Throne of Blood (1957) - The Race to Kane
Ya know how in quarantine, we were all sitting around thinking “tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace from day to day”? Well, to stave off that nihilistic emptiness, we started a podcast! And finally, the pod touches on one of the world’s greatest filmmakers Akira Kurosawa. Evan joins the pod for the second week in a row to continue his proselytizing of Shakespeare, Alicia hops back on the pod to dole out some Noh-ledge, and Caleb is also there.
