Adjoa B. Duker, MD, MPH, CPLC, is a Family Physician and Life Coach with a passion for wellness, and a self-care champion. 

A native New Yorker with Ghanaian heritage, Dr. Duker attended the University of Virginia, where she was a Sociology major. She then attended Howard University and completed a Post Baccalaureate Pre Med program and then studied Nutritional Sciences.  She then attended Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica and  completed clinical rotations at various NYC and east coast hospitals. 

Dr. Duker graduated in 2002 and then completed her intern year in Pediatrics.  She subsequently transferred into a Family Medicine residency at North Shore Glen Cove in NY, graduating in 2006. Her interest in women's health then led her to enroll in a reproductive health,  Family Planning fellowship at Einstein, while working on her MPH at Columbia University. Dr Duker’s past research activities included evaluating contraception continuation in teens.
