Eye opening reminder to parents

Parents have a lot of authority and decision making power regarding their minor children. Sometimes we get caught up in the status quo of established systems, rules, and practices. Sometimes we just buy into "the way things are", and simply go along with what teachers and principals tell us, unless we are faced with overwhelming evidence that different decisions are in the best interest of our children. Emmalou reminds us that we must become involved, concerned, and take the actions that are in the best interest of those who rely upon our actions as they develop into the best adults they may become. Great episode.
