About Our Host: Veda Sunassee is an international Moderator and Mcee. He has spent 9 years in several roles with the African Leadership (AL) Group, firsting serving as an Entrepreneurial Leadership Faculty at the African Leadership Academy in South Africa for 5 years before ultimately rising to be the Founding Dean of the African Leadership University in Rwanda. In his role, he built and led a team of 30+ and grew the campus to 600 students. Over the years, he has leveraged his leadership expertise and world-class facilitation skills to a variety of leaders in conversation, including the likes of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (world-famous author), Ban Ki Moon (former Secretary-General of the UN), Ben Rhodes (former senior advisor to Barack Obama), Kirk Whalum (Grammy-award winning saxophonist), Patoranking (top Nigerian Afro-beats star) & Graca Machel (Global Icon). What is The Room:The Room is a community of high impact leaders on a path to make global change. Individuals from around the world find and share opportunities, ideas, events, networks and resources to co-create a collective where opportunity and talent meet. The members of The Room are hard working, high achievers who share similar values of respect, integrity, diversity, passion and collaboration. The Room as a platform is here to support members to become the best version of themselves both personally and professionally.
