Loved it until the end. Great story, obviously well researched and well told but disappointing at the end. All that evidence and not once do they address any motive for their prime suspects. People kill for a reason. What was the motive to kill Sissy???

Tedious storytelling, potentially maligning a family (with no evidence) that has already been through trauma…for what purpose? podcast employs skillful true crime audio techniques (kudos to audio engineers) but there is no there there. The hosts are annoying after over and over again. Hate to post a bad review but these folks had no problem implicating people, one by name, with murder accusations with no more than a deceased detectives hunches…and zero evidence or motive.

There seems to be a trend in this true crime arena where you get all hooked into a very exciting story that goes absolutely nowhere. I lived in Trenton for years so I was thrilled to hear about this podcast. I get it, there’s a great opportunity for money to be made in this super hot genre, but eight episodes of this? If I heard another time about whether it was Sunday night or Monday night at the Grateful Dead concert, I was going to stick a pen in my eye. It’s all good! Provide the entertainment just don’t slog it out for hours for no conclusion. It just ends up seeming really, really indulgent.

Good storytelling, but jeez Louise what a waste of breath and time. Could’ve been a compelling two-parter. A whole lotta “gotchas” followed by a whole lotta “nvm.” Annoying.
