In Your Dreams with Laura Suzanne The Dream Journal

    • Self-Improvement

Laura Suzanne explains that it can be helpful to notice whether we are active participants in a dream or passive observers as well as to notice how our waking life feelings might differ from the feelings in the dream itself. We touch on the work of Montague Ullman and the importance of authorities being willing to be vulnerable in dream groups and relate this to the current issue of the abuse of power by police around the murder of George Floyd. We end with a dream from our caller Diane about the laws of physics.

BIO: Laura Suzanne is the author of a three part book series “In Your Dreams” based on a newspaper column that she wrote for Las Vegas Weekly. What makes her book series unique is that real dreams from actual readers are featured in the books. Titles include “Your Dreams of Sex, Love, Romance and What They Mean” “Decoding Your Dreams of Money, Luck and Success” and the most popular and personal favorite of the author is “Welcome to Your Nightmares”. In addition to her books, Laura has created a wonderful guided dream journal that can be used a point of reference to break down and decode even the most complex or bizarre dreams using a simple formula that she uses to work on her own dreams.  If you write to her, she will send it to you as a free gift on PDF. Her philosophy when it comes to dream work is ‘Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for life.’

Laura is the admin and founder of a popular Facebook group called Dream Enthusiasts with a lot of activity and engagement from the members. People of all levels from beginner to expert are in her group and quality content is shared and many dreams discussed.

Laura was a psych major at San Diego State University, however, she didn’t feel that there was enough information about dreams in her courses , so she went on the study dreams even further after graduation. She became certified as a dream guide through the Dream Interpretation Institute and took some courses through Institute for Dream Studies as well. Curious to know even more about the workings of the subconscious mind, Ms. Snell became a Certified Hypnotherapist through Serenus Clinical Hypnosis. Laura is also a Reiki Master and intuitive empath. She currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada and when she isn’t doing dream work, she is tending to her pride of cats. Her real claim to fame is “Best cat mama this side of the Mississippi.”
