Indie Infestation Joe, Justin and Zane

Welcome back to your favorite Indie Genre Podcast!  This week Zane and Joe bring the heat with a special "Livescreamers" episode with writer/director Michelle Iannantuono and actors Michael Smallwood and Evan Michael Pearce.  This film did NOT disappoint and the acting, directing and effects are superb; Michelle and the cast have done some amazing things! As a special bonus before the livescreaming begins your earbuds will get a special treat with some short live interviews done at GenreBlast including Jamal Hodge, Tim Troemner, Jeremy Herbert, Mike Lombardo, Chris Warner and last but certainly not least Joe Reilly.  All of these people have put together some amazing stuff so if you get the chance to see or read their stuff, DO IT!
 

You are all in for a treat this week as the boys are back with one of their favorite episodes to record annually.  The best Indie film festival teams with the best Indie genre podcast!  That's right GenreBlast 8 is coming in less than a month!  Zane and Joe are joined by super special guest co-host Rakefet Abergel as they interview the man behind the Blast, Nathan Ludwig.  The gang discuss the 12 features and 99 shorts showing at the Alamo Drafthouse in Winchester, VA on Labor Day weekend.  This is a festival not to be missed so make you plans to get there!

The boys are back at it again this week as the welcome the Dynamic Duo that is the Barber Brothers, Nate and Matthew.  The guys discuss their new short film that is sure to make you feel claustrophobic entitled "Sempre Avanti" that will be showing at the TCL Chinese Theater in Los Angeles next Saturday June 24th!  If you have not witnessed the genius of these boys check them out at a film festival coming your way; everything they do is stellar!  So get ready as Zane shares his love of the "Baby Geniuses" franchise and Joe pitches his marketing to have Matt and Nate put there stuff on a Blu-ray for public consumption.

The boys have finally come out of hibernation!  Who brought them out you ask?  Why, none other than the awesome writer/director/actress Rakefet Abergel!  Rakefet discusses her upcoming short she is making entitled "Still" and how writing it was therapeutic to her.  The boys are up to their old tricks as Zane's head mysteriously floats and Joe pines for PJ, Max and Dan.  So go get your track shoes and sprint on over to where you listen to the apex predator of podcasts and prepare for consumption!

Buckle up because Joe is back this week with a special guest host from the Lone Star State, Paul Adams.  Paul fills in admirably as Zane is off getting his hair did....again.  Back this week is favorite guests of the show, PJ Starks and Eric Huskisson as they discuss their current crowdfunding campaign for New Fear's Eve which sports a really cool villain concept; Plague Doctor meets Jack the Ripper.  The fellas also get into Halloween Ends and why it is so polarizing amongst its audience and Joe gets into why Terrifier 2 is so rad!  So buckle up for some Zane bashing, PJ-Eric love and Lance Wagner murder shed action as Paul tells people to stop being babies and make something original!

This week your two favorite gents are back as Zane and Joe grab a hold of Nathan and Matthew Barber's shorts and dig in!  If you have not seen any of the Barber Brother's shorts: "Go Back", "No One is Coming", "The Specter of Weeping Hill" or "Get Out of There"; you need to get a hold of them and implore them to share a way to see them!  The Matthew and Nathan are super cool dudes and Joe and Zane had great time chatting about their films and what makes them tick.  On the episode Zane may or may not be pants-less and Joe may or may not love PJ Starks.  You all heard it here first....THE BARBER BROTHERS ARE THE NEXT BIG THING!
