Infamous International: The Pink Panthers Story

This is an excellent podcast that is well written. The presenter is very personable and does an excellent job drawing you into the story… not to mention the world of international jewel thieves is just fascinating.

I learned so much about a world I never knew about before!

Thanks so much for this riveting story! I visited the “old” Yugoslavia in the mid-1970s and spent a week there; it was hard for me to keep up with the breakup of the Balkans in the 1990s but can understand the desperation of the young people at that time. It sounds like the Pink Panthers are the forerunners of the current-day smash & grab that’s happening so frequently in the US now.

There are so many episodes. it’s taken me a long time to listen. I could not start listening at first because of the voice of the narrator. it’s like she’s eating around her words and making too many extra mouth sounds. her style of speech is slow and really hard to listen to. there are too many details and dragging out of the story. it could be like 5 episodes tops. i will finish it but it has bored me already. the butterfly king was a better story and kept me more engaged. i do try most podcasts on the exactly right network.
