Welcome to Influencer Education, the show for online creatives who want to improve their content and create a more meaningful relationship with their audience.
Your host, blogger and social media coach Mindy Marzec, takes you through a variety of topics online marketers need to know about in order to be successful in this industry.
32. How to Get Started with Influencer Marketing
How to be an influencer: Take selfie, post on Instagram, wait for money to roll in.
Well, not quite. Working in influencer marketing is a lot more nuanced than that. In this episode I'm sharing my advice for getting started as a content creator and influencer. That influence needs to be earned, and it's through hard work and consistency. So if you've ever been interested in what it takes to become an influencer, this episode is for you!

31. What Creators Need to Know About Working with PR
The relationship between content creators and public relations can be a complicated one. That's why I asked my friend and PR pro Vy Spear to come on this show and talk on the topic of influencer marketing from the agency side. Vy has 10 years of public relations experience, working with a wide range of bloggers, vloggers, and influencers. And since she is a blogger herself, she knows how the relationship should work from both sides. Learn the difference between PR agencies and in-house PR departments, how to strengthen your relationship with PR pros, and how PR agencies select influencers to work with on their campaigns.

30. What is Clubhouse?
What the heck is Clubhouse? This new social media platform, which just received a $1 billion funding valuation, is currently all the rage. In this episode I share all about how to join Clubhouse (it's not as simple as just signing up!), and how you can make Clubhouse part of your influencer marketing strategy.

SEO - Search Engine Optimization - refers to know high up your website ranks in Google and other search engines for certain keywords or phrases. 28. Repurposing Your Content for Reels
Have you started using Instagram Reels yet? Reels are short form videos you can create right inside the Instagram app, and since Instagram always prioritizes their new features, people are seeing massive engagement and growth by using Reels consistently. One of those people is Natasha Samuel, Instagram Strategist and owner of Shine with Natasha! On this episode, Natasha shares how she created new Reels by repurposing older content and gained approximately 1000 followers a week as a result!

Influencer education - not just for influencers! 🥳
I love this podcast. I blog for fun (haven’t tapped into turning it into a side hustle), but this podcast is chock full of helpful information. Mindy is a wonderful host and has had some fab/informed guests. Highly recommend a listen regardless of where you fall on the blogging/social media spectrum.
I love this podcast!!!
Not only do I love this podcast for the education of it, but Mindy is just wonderful! She provides excellent sources for things that others claim to be “experts” on!
For the influencer and consumer
I have followed Mindy for a few years and love her Disney adventures and she also has great insight on very relevant topics. Her influencer education is great for those who are just starting out or have been in the industry for years! It’s also eye opening to the consumers who purchase product from seeing a review, that sometimes it’s not properly disclosed that your purchase also puts money in the reviewers pocket! I look forward for more to come from her podcast!
