    Welcome to today’s episode of Talking about Bipolar and Depression! Today we have a special guest couple with us to share their story about the struggles they have faced in dealing with bipolar disorder and depression. We are so honored to have them here with us to help spread awareness about the immense challenges that mental health issues can cause in relationships. Our guests today have been living with mental illness for a number of years and have seen first-hand the physical and emotional toll that it can take on those close to them.     Mysterious world of paganism was Reverend Lyle

    Today on the podcast we’re discussing the truth about paganism in Native American and Celtic cultures. Paganism is a set of religious beliefs that are generally non-monotheistic and characterized by worship of multiple deities or natural elements. Although each pagan culture has its own distinct belief systems, many aspects remain the same. The indigenous peoples of North America embraced animistic beliefs that often included spirits of the land and its elements. From ancient shamans to modern tribal rituals, a reverence for the land, the plants and animals within it, and the idea that spirit inhabits all things are central tenets of many pagan cultures in North America. In the Celtic culture, a polytheistic religion prevailed that focused on numerous gods and goddesses that embodied nature. Celts also placed emphasis on the various cycles of life, such as birth, death, and rebirth, and the deep spiritual connection to nature and the supernatural world. Druids were known to conduct rituals and other spiritual activities to ensure harmony between the natural and supernatural realms.     Truth of why you need a chiropractor w/Dr. Shane Wernke

    Today I want to talk about the truth behind why you need a chiropractor and some tips and tricks to avoid back pain. Did you know that misalignments of your spine and vertebrae can be a leading cause of back pain? Without regular spinal maintenance, the joint can be forced into poor posture, resulting in long-term health problems. That's why I'm here to help you prevent these issues. Chiropractors specialize in hands-on treatment to manually adjust misalignments of your spine, which in turn can relieve a variety of chronic and acute health problems, including headaches, back pain, and neck pain. As far as avoiding back pain goes, here are a few things that I would suggest. 1. Stretch regularly – especially when you've been sitting in one place for a while. Stretching helps to loosen tight muscles, reduce joint stiffness and improve blood circulation. 2. Take breaks when working on a computer or other digital devices. Too much sitting in one spot can put a strain on your muscles, leading to back pain. 3. Try low-impact exercises such as walking, biking or swimming to strengthen the muscles in your back and abdomen. 4. Avoid heavy lifting and twisting your body when you’re moving objects. 5. Lastly, make sure that your work station and chair are set up ergonomically – having everything in the correct positions to support your back. These are just a few of my chiropractic tips for avoiding back pain. Remember, if you ever have questions about chiropractic care or back pain, I'm here to help. Take care and stay healthy.
