The real deal

Fascinating look into the mind of the comic book artist. This is the most real and honest podcast out there covering the good, the bad, and the real of being a modern comic book artist.

One of the best podcasts in the biz!!!

Shawn is performing an incredible service for society in two aspects. First and foremost his podcast exposes the trials and tribulations of the artist, setting up a personal experience that is truly supportive and enriching for the art community as a whole. Second, this is oral history at its finest... recording for all of posterity the thoughts and struggles of the 21st Century artist! Bravo Shawn Crystal.. Bravo!!

Can’t stop listening!

I first met Shawn back in March of 2017, and he instantly came off as an approachable (and likable) guy. I have since had the pleasure of hanging out a couple of nights with him and a few of his podcast guests. So I felt I owed it to myself to finally sit down with Inkpulp Audio, and boy I’m glad I did!
I’m now around 20 episodes in, and I’m thoroughly enjoying the tone and topics of this series, which delves into not the craft, but rather the insecurities, challenges, joys, frustrations and balancing acts that these creators go through whilst making their respective crafts.
Plus, metal, hardcore or hip hop? What else is there?
Highly recommend!
