Insecure S4 E7 & E8 Recap & After Show: Vacation bae vibes
Molly and Andrew go on a short weekend vacation to Puerto Vallarta – sans Issa block party baggage – with Andrew's brother Victor and sister-in-law Lydia. Andrew and Molly grow closer, but a racial incident at the resort causes tension between Molly and Victor.
In the subsequent episode, Issa and Lawrence reconnect over dinner and open up about their past relationship and discuss how they have changed since their relationship. Things shift at the end after both encounter past lovers throughout the night.

Insecure S4 E3 Recap & After Show: Thankful for a messy Thanksgiving...
It's Thanksgiving and there's a lot going on. Issa and Molly note their distance between one another in their grocery store and agree to meet up later. Molly's family celebrates Thanksgiving together and she is faced once again with forgiving her father for his actions. Issa and her brother Ahmal decide to do their own thing after their family dinner is put on hold by an accident, and Lawrence joins Friendsgiving at Condola's house, where they address some issues that are brought up.

Honest opinion...
I think there needs to be a stronger male representation. The male on the cast is speaking from the male perspective but he isn’t being introspective enough to fully express the male point of view so that the female listeners understand the male mindset. It’s like he either doesn’t know HOW to convey his points clearly or he attempting to not ruffle the feathers of the other 2 females on the cast by not being direct enough.

I love discussing the show and hearing different views so was happy to find this. However there’s a lot of off topic banter and some of the panel (i.e. especially McCall) seem to not have a great grasp on storylines and things that are supposed to be viewed with a broader context in mind. The towel thing with Molly, condoms being whipped out for love scenes etc. Many things are implied like many shows, especially short shows. I think the panel would benefit taking more time after watching before discussing or heck maybe watch a few times. They are very off base with their assessment of the characters.

The omission of showing the keycard exchange an the conversation between Andrew and his brother after the pool confrontation were meant to be ambiguous. We were not supposed to see it. It’s meant to cause the audience to think about various points view.
