Joan Llanso is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as an Investment Director at Portobello Capital, a leading independent Mid-Market Private Equity firm based in Spain.

Before joining Portobello Capital, Joan worked as an Investment Professional at Permira for three years and spent three years in McKinsey & Co.'s Corporate Finance & Restructuring group.

With more than 10 years of experience in finance, Joan has established himself as an expert in  Strategy Consulting and Finance. He has relevant experience on both largecap (Permira) in the Healthcare and Consumer sectors and midcap, with 8 buyout transactions closed to date.

He's been a finance coach for the past 5 years, having helped 100+ candidates break into PE & IBD.

Joan holds an MBA degree from Columbia Business School, Master in Finance from HEC Paris and Civil Engineer from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
