 May I tell you an open secret that most people are not yet aware of but they should be.  Today because of AI and AV and AA and all kinds of other artificial stuff, they are trying to fool you, and most of the time they do.  Hopefully it doesn't have to be you.
 My last program I told you about how Seth Godin was able to create a very fine quality radio program that he had very little to do with because he had artificial intelligence and artificial voice and sound create the whole thing ,and he fooled us into thinking that it was him who was the talent when in fact as he confessed it was all done by the AI robots.
Now on this April Fools day let me tell you a bit of the rest of the story. In fact AI could turn every day into a fools day designed to do just that to you.  And what would happen to society in civilization if millions of people were put out of work and employment because the AI robot could do their work and what if the AI could be so clever and so smart that I could fool everybody all the time and thereby people would not know who they could trust or who they could believe.
That of course is a recipe for war and disaster and maybe devastation... That's not a pleasant idea and we hope and pray that it will not be even close to reality but give me 12 minutes on the Saturday just to give you a bit of a warning of what could be and what perhaps you need to be in to do in this new AI world,

Could it really change just about everything. The truth is that we don't know but we do know that for many people and for many things it could be incredible changes, and perhaps catastrophic in terms of the life and business that you do right now.  I not only do many podcasts, but I also listen to many of them. 
Today any smart business leader is in close touch both with theirr colleagues and with their competitors.
 
I have learned a lot from Seth Godin, and we look alike in many ways.  But he certainly may be more accomplished and smarter, and he's certainly much richer.  But in a credible and incredible way he just demonstrated the power of artificial intelligence.  He created a powerful content program with incredible style and personal grace.
 
But the whole thing was an AI fake.  And none of us would have been able to tell the difference except that he told us it was.  I don't care what business you are in but this weekend you need to listen to my program and then go listen to Seth's fake program and you will be amazed and maybe a little bit frightened,
 
But don't be afraid because some of us know what's coming and what you need to do to avoid not being replaced by a smarter than you robot or machine.
.. As the sounder always says, please pay attention.

 In today's world we will encounter challenges and many of these will be challenges that very few people have gone through before. We will need even more spiritual energy, stronger personality, greater wisdom and lots of courage to do well and to be well at this time.

 I think most of us take ourselves too seriously. And there's a difference between taking your work seriously and taking yourself too seriously.
That is particularly true in the work that I do. From time to time years ago a frightened young intern would come to me and confessed they had messed something up for a radio program and they were here to ask for forgiveness.
Usually that was no problem though I made it a point to try and ask them to think and do some remedial work to try and avoid that from happening again. I would then share with a smile  ... That they were not the first person to make that mistake in the industry and they won't be the last. And then sometimes I would add, and remember it's only a radio program.
I felt I had worked hard and put in a good solid 15 minutes of news, some views, a touch of entertainment and some wisdom insight and truth that might be helpful about making an impact in the world.  
But I also know that in this business like in almost every business, timing is vital and just as I was posting the program we got news of the terrible shooting in Nashville. And obviously that was and should dominate the news and hopefully no views of why it happened or how it happened, at least for a while.  
You see  in the midst of that I am not going to increase the amount of perhaps useless noise by putting my radio program right smack dab in the middle of the conversation.  And so I did not,but now I'd like to talk about how important it might be to learn how to makean impact for good in this obviously broken and very sad world,

Thank God for the weekend. He designed it. He wants you to enjoy it. And so I'm gonna tell you a few reasons why and how you can.
I'm going to read a book about Paul Newman that is his memoir written after his death which he didn't write... 
Partly because I want to remind you that you can learn from almost anybody or anything, and the people who can do that tend to be more at peace with the world and more successful in their life.
And so I have my usual radio ramblings but I have been thinking and believe that if you just let them come on and think about them, eventually they may even make more sense than they seem and more useful to you then you first thought.
