From a tiny rural village in India to a successful physician leader and businesswoman - with Dr. Anjana Kundu The Leadership Rx for Women Physicians

    • Self-Improvement

-wbusiness“A leader is someone who dares to believe and not just believe, be able to have a vision and go there before anyone else has, even though it may involve risk”

From a tiny village in rural India where most girls did not study past 5th grade, to building a successful career in Anesthesiology, a thriving business on the side and a podcast that has listeners in 28 countries, my guest Dr. Anjana Kundu, has come a very long way.

Mother to a teenager, a runner, cyclist, foodie, gardening and yoga enthusiast who also loves travel, music and reading, she is a multi-faceted leader who has nearly 20 years of experience in pediatric pain and palliative care across the globe. She is a passionate clinician, accomplished academician, educator and administrator.  She is credited with building, growing and leading 2 successful pediatric pain programs in the US.

She also finds time in her busy schedule to give back with medical volunteering in some of the poorest parts of the world.

Join us to hear about her journey from rural India, through the halls of academic medicine here in the US, lessons learned and challenges surmounted and her advice to women physicians on not just surviving, but thriving.
