We are honoured to bring to you a conversation with Dr. Ennio Tasciotti, a Professor of Regenerative Medicine, the founder of the Center for Biomimetic Medicine and the Director of the Center for Musculoskeletal Regeneration at Houston Methodist Hospital, one of the 20 best hospitals in the USA.  

Dr. Tasciotti's research focuses on developing new therapeutic approaches targeting inflammation and the immune system with the goal of restoring the health of the patient to a pre-disease state. He has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications, has presented at over 250 national and international conferences, and is an inventor of 10 U.S. patents on nanotechnology platforms for drug delivery and biomaterials for regenerative medicine.  

Dr. Tasciotti is a recognized expert in translational research and serves as a reviewer for several study sections and expert panels for the National Institutes of Health, the US Department of Defense, the European Research Council, and several governmental agencies throughout the world (Israel, Australia, UK, Austria, France, Switzerland).
