Into The Dark

I started listening to this podcast after finding a specific episode. I love the way she is open about her struggles with mental health and how doing the podcast helps with that. I have my own struggles as well, and listening to podcasts is how I get through it. I’m a forever a listener!

The host talks soooo slowly that I had to listen at 1.5x for it to be a normal talking pace (-1 star). There’s 3 minutes of ads at the beginning, twice in the middle, then again at the end. It’s annoying because usually ads are no more than 60-90 seconds. (-1 star) She started off the podcast as true crime but now it’s conspiracy theories and alien sightings. (-1 star) Lastly, she started doing 10 seconds at the beginning to talk about what’s on her mind but it’s actually 1-2 minutes. Again, doesn’t feel like a true crime podcast anymore (-1 star). The early episodes are fun to listen to (+1 star). She does block series of types of crimes which was also cool to listen to which was a differentiator but again now she’s just doing weird stuff (+1 star).

I have been listening to MWMH a while ago with my friend. I found this one and have listened to 10 episodes in two days! I love that it spans so many topics.

I just recently started back to working after having a baby and the job I have is quite boring to say the least. Music gets boring to listen to after a while so I thought maybe listen to a podcast and had this one in my library just never got to it. When I tell you this made my work day go so fast! I was so invested into each of her podcast episodes I didn’t even notice the time going by. The way she tells each crime and adds in her own little 10 (more than 10 but I don’t mind) seconds in the beginning is amazing to me.10/10 best podcast I’ve ever listened to. Thank you so much for the work you’ve put into this🥰🥰🥰
