Catherine Partheniades - SURVIVOR of Homophobia

WARNING: this episode contains strong language which may be unsuitable for children. Listener discretion is advised.

Catherine was adopted as a baby, but didn’t find out the truth of her adoption until she was in her 30’s. She also endured struggles with her identity because she was gay. As much love as she received growing up, her household was not the most openminded in accepting her truth.

After coming out, it took almost 8 years for her to be completely secure with herself. She grew to love herself, and with the love and support of her wife, they share a special love and bond. She is grateful for all her struggles in her life because without them she would not be the person she is today.

Tools & techniques

Excellent podcast from Athena Casey! She interviews trauma survivors and healers, both offering their stories as well as tools and techniques to cope with in every day life. No doubt this podcast will help others who have faced all types of intolerances in life and also help those who are seeking answers to their own demons. Great listen!

‘It have learned silence from the talkative, tolerance from the intolerant, and kindness from the unkind’

Love and tolerance

The INTOLERANCE podcast from Athena Casey, will no doubt bring together a community of brave souls whom have experience the deepest pain of rejection and have come out on the other side happy, healthy and healed. I look forward to learning some fresh and revised ancient modalities that these unique guest use to great effect to recover from the suffering caused by (sometimes those closest to you) whom in ignorance and fear carry isms and phobias towards those that are most in need of LOVE and TOLERANCE.
