As grad students in the Columbia University psychology department, we hope to provide you with some insight into graduate studies in psychology, from applying to programs to learning about day-to-day life as a PhD student. Season 1 focuses on the application process, and this first episode covers three main topics. First, what is a PhD in psychology? Second, what differentiates a psych PhD from other graduate degrees in psychology? And third, what does a day in the life of a PhD student look like?
