Intuitive Eating Tips for The Whole Family: Episode #7 Food Issues

    • Nutrition

Intuitive eating has been around for over 25 years, but it has garnered a lot of attention in recent years as more people have looked to non-diet approaches to weight loss and healthy living. Intuitive eating isn’t something we typically hear about for kids, but it’s one of the best ways to raise healthy eaters.

In this episode, I sat down with Dr. Yami Cazorla-Lancaster, a board-certified pediatrician, certified lifestyle medicine physician, national board-certified health and wellness coach, international speaker, and author of “A Parent’s Guide to Intuitive Eating.” Dr. Yami is also the founder of VeggieFitKids.com, where she provides information on plant-based diets for children, and the host of the Veggie Doctor Radio podcast. Dr. Yami and I talked about what intuitive eating is, how it benefits kids and the whole family, and easy ways to shift your perspective and practice it at home.
