    Film Team:

    Letia Solomon - Director

    Wes Awkuobi - Writer

Ben Cory Jones – Executive Producer

    Anne Brashier - Producer

    C. Craig - Producer

Letia Solomon and her team for The Cypher were selected to premiere in the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival April 15-26, 2020. When the festival was postponed due to the global pandemic, their dreams were stalled, but that didn’t stop them. Tribeca turned to an exclusive online format and her team sought a public relations firm to get more eyes on the film. In true independent film spirit, they turned the exclusive platform around and was able to gain some success during such an uncertain time. Since then, The Cypher has been featured in CAA Moebius's Short Showcase and selected in the American Black Film Festival's HBO Competition in August 2020.

Tessa Lauren ,

Another favorite filmmaking podcast

I listen to a lot of filmmaking podcasts and I was weary to add one to my ever growing list of need-to-listen. However, I was hooked just a few episodes in and now I’ve binge-listened the whole way through. Worth every second!

Gustaf av Ed ,

The Actor/Writer/Producer with Colette Friedman

I am a huge fan of Colette Friedman. Took her story development class once and turned right around and took it a second time. She helped me break through a writers’ block that had my treatment in a dusty folder for some 28 years and now it’s a complete screen play with only a little more polishing needed before I let it see the light of day.

I’ve been working as a visual artist in the industry for decades and had no idea where to start with my story. She goes straight to what’s needed and is amazingly thorough and talented.
