Best investing podcast I’ve found

Best by far. The way that Phil coaches his daughter through the entire process with such knowledge and obvious love really comes through. Daniele is so smart that she is able to ask the intricate and through questions that I would ask to get a really deep understanding of the subjects and Phil’s obvious respect and love shows when he stops to answer her. His depth of knowledge is impressive and I feel extremely lucky to be able to listen in on the conversations and lessons these two are having.
Thank you for making this and sharing your knowledge.

Read the book skip the cast

I’ve enjoyed reading every page of Invested. It’s equally educational, motivating and reassuring for beginners. The podcast fails to transfer that knowledge to a timely discussion of value investing in today’s market. There’s no discussion of value equities (they do exist) or even the latest news from BRK (the ‘sacrilegious’ position in SPY/VOO). What’s more frustrating is that the hosts waste 15 or so minutes before getting down to the title of the podcast, which qualifies as clickbait, and most of the time there’s no meat on that bone. Never mind their willingness to share studies and other gaffes like completely ignoring the value of dollar cost averaging even when the market is appreciably rich. Read the book and pass the podcast except for a few episodes with guests.

Fantastic Podcast for Beginner Investors

This is by far my most favorite podcast, especially for investing. I have had a desire to start investing on my own and make my own decisions about my money but didn’t know how to start. I searched several podcasts which all had varying opinions and hypothesis’ that I didn’t fully agree with not to mention they were flat out confusing for any new person to understand. I then found this podcast which, since listening to, has instilled confidence and knowledge that I needed to open a brokerage account and start learning how to invest. Both Phil and Danielle do a fantastic job of teaching about investing. The style of the podcast (Phil, the seasoned investing guru teaching his daughter Danielle about investing) is extremely helpful as Danielle most often has the exact same thoughts and questions that I do. Most other podcasts just breeze over confusing jargon and concepts where this one takes the time to pause and explain things along the way. Only critical comments I could have is that I wish the audio was a little more clear and there are a few episodes where they could probably do a little better at staying on topic. But these things are minor and still believe this podcast deserves all five stars. I look forward each week to every new podcast and hope this podcast continues to air as I don’t know where I would go without it!
