With the increase in sexual depravity plaguing our society, Christians have found themselves having to address all manner of immorality. Unfortunately, this has led many Christians to wrong understandings of marriage and the biblical sexual ethic God has laid out for us in scripture. There are Christians who believe God views and even encourages, things like polygamy. They see examples of polygamy in the Old Testament, and assume that means God endorses such arrangements. That is but one example of the arguments they present in defense of polygamy. In this episode of the Bible Bashed Podcast we will address many of the prominent arguments presented in defense of polygamy and explain why God has plainly revealed to us that marriage is only between one man and one woman.
