Ishwariya Rajamohan, Confidence in your work, Career Changes, and Work-life-balance

Nearly One-Fourth

Welcome to Nearly One-Fourth, the podcast dedicated to being a space for women in architecture sharing their experiences in the profession. On today's episode I am happy to welcome Ishwariya Rajamohan to the Nearly One-Fourth Community. Ishwariya Rajamohan is a former architect, now certified coach practicing in London, UK and working with clients all across the globe. She supports female leaders in Architecture in rising above challenges that range from confidence in the workplace to work life balance. Her work as a coach affirms what she has always known - that even though a coachee brings a very human issue to work on during a session, she is invariably shown glimpses of their unique brilliance. Ishwariya is accredited with the Association for Coaching (UK) and is also a Mental Health First Aider. She trained as an architect in India before completing a Master’s degree in Environmental Design in the UK and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Ishwariya is also the founder of Love Letters to Chefs, an educational platform supporting Hospitality professionals in creating sustainable careers - a passion project she set up in 2016 following a second career as a pastry chef. In this episode Ishwariya and I unpack many topics including but not limited to: Finding confidence in a Male dominated profession; Changing career paths; Work-life-balance and a call to action for flexible work schedules; This list is just the tip of the iceberg of what and Ishwariya I talked about. We had a great conversation and I am excited to share it with you all! Thank you all for tuning in to the first episode of Nearly One-Fourth! I hope you enjoy joining the community!
