Boy, politics really has gotten hideous, hasn’t it? And protests seem a lot more violent than they were a couple of years ago. Are things getting worse? Could the U.S.A be on the road to a second civil war?

Robert Evans says ‘Yes!’ and by the time you’ve finished listening to ‘It Could Happen Here’, you will too.

No laughing matter

After the presidents crazy rants today on Twitter about arresting Adam Schiff for treason and that if he gets impeached they’ll be a Civil War makes this podcast all the more relevant. And all the other jokers who commented on it saying it was not a possible and exaggerated can bite me. This country is effed up.We have a lunatic in the White House.

Weighted opinion, leans left

I was hopeful about this show. I listened to a few episodes and tried to ignore the obviously one sided view of the current stat of our world. Personally, I would have enjoyed the story from a more balanced POV, not that one side is. Perfect and the other is crazy. Open your eyes and heart a bit further.

The writer/host is unapologetically biased and has approached the topic from what seems like an “I told you so” position rather than “you’ll believe it because I’ll show it to you” tactic.

Empathy as a way of storytelling is what I was hopeful for — make me understand and realize the reasons people feel so unsettled. Don’t call people idiots or uninformed. Too self righteous for my taste.
