Boy, politics really has gotten hideous, hasn’t it? And protests seem a lot more violent than they were a couple of years ago. Are things getting worse? Could the U.S.A be on the road to a second civil war?

Robert Evans says ‘Yes!’ and by the time you’ve finished listening to ‘It Could Happen Here’, you will too.

Could have been good

This podcast really had me hook in the beginning but his leftest bias was just too much. This would have been a good podcast and there was no need to insert his politic ideas.

Hate filled fear and propaganda

I liked the story, at least the first two episodes, although there’s almost no self reflection, that rural communities might actually be justified should liberal policies become oppressive. There’s a common false theme in the socialist movement that rural citizens act against there own self interest. That they must be brain washed or unable to evaluate data.
But this fourth episode is the worst, fully outs himself, claiming the target audience is moderates and liberals. In other words he wants more polarization, leading to less compromise, resulting in more intolerance and hate against conservatives. This is win at all costs, then re-educate the losers and slaughter everyone else before they kill you mentality.
