    Our ignominious return!

Stottlemeyer and Monk had some good chemistry in this episode

Natalie's line about the great ones playing hurt is total BS.

Natalie totally burned Monk when he asked her to do her job and she replied, "I'm busy doing yours."

Season 04 Episode 01 and the Older Doughier Jason Biggs

    Hear me out.

Jason Alexander in a linen suit.

Ok. But what if he's wearing a wetsuit underneath it?

WHAT IF... He wears a life jacket on the wetsuit underneath a linen suit?

See? I didn't even mention that he huffs dog poop in the episode.

An engaging exploration through a classic TV show!

I had only watched one or two episodes of Monk before, but Arielle and Alan’s fun podcast has made me revisit it. It’s great to hear them talk about what they like about the show, while not glossing over areas where it doesn’t quite hold up. If you’re interested in Monk, or just enjoy hearing a couple of friends chat, then give it a listen!

There’s also a facebook group where they post screenshots from the show, and other things relevant to their discussions, for those who want to delve deeper, or participate in their weekly watch parties.

Randomness

Based on the name of the podcast and my love of Monk, I decided to give this a try.

I couldn’t make it through a full episode. There was so much randomness and thoughts everywhere. One of the hosts hasn’t even seen all of the episodes. I found it offensive that they couldn’t even remember some of the main character’s names from the show.

I’m all for others loving Monk, but I didn’t feel their conversation put the show in a good light.

Not Impressed

I’m sorry I just didn’t love this. I didn’t make it through a full episode. The first one I got so frustrated that they both were so scattered. It seemed like the hadn’t even watched the episode recently. They kept forgetting how the storyline went. So I skipped ahead a couple episodes hoping that maybe after a few, they would find a rhythm, but turned it off after about 20 minutes of them just absolutely bashing the show and complaining about every single thing that wasn’t “P.C.” and honestly I didn’t have any interest trying another one. Sorry.
