#51 Goodbye Shame
#51 Goodbye Shame.
So many times when we can’t move forward, it’s shame that is holding us back. Let’s look at what the Bible say about this in the book of Hebrews.

#50 A Conversation about Reconciliation
#50 A Conversation about Reconciliation
Should I stay or should I go? Over the years I’ve met with women who are walking through very difficult seasons in their marriage. When I say difficult, I mean more than “we just don’t get along” or “we’re disconnected.” The women I’m taking about are experiencing emotional abuse and more in their marriages. When talking with them, I often hear about a tape rolling in their mind that says, “If I’m a good Christian I have to stay in this relationship no matter what.”
Today, I have a lot of questions for Matt Barnhill, MA, CART at Barnhill from Associates Counseling Center. Some of these questions are ones I’ve received from women in these exact situations and some are questions I’ve had as a friend walking alongside them. My hope today is to open the conversation about when you should stay and when you should go.

#49 The Rewind: The Gospel Holds
#49 The Rewind: The Gospel Holds.
Last week we talked about the hot topic of deconstruction. I hope it was helpful to you and that you enjoyed it. While the word has taken on so many different meanings I hope you heard that the word itself doesn’t need as much power as we have given it. What if we looked closer at what someone was talking about when they mentioned, “deconstruction.” Let’s look at Hebrews and see what the Bible has to say about this.

#48 A Conversation about Deconstruction
#48 A Conversation about Deconstruction
Today I get to chat with a good friend Dave Davis about the big word, “deconstruction” specifically when it comes to theology. Deconstruction has been defined as "the process of systematically dissecting and often rejecting the beliefs you grew up with." And as "a process of re-examining the faith you grew up with."
Recently, I've heard this term more and more and have started to examine it in my own life. Because without a doubt, my faith has grown and shifted over the years. I hope today encourages you in your walk with the Lord.

#47 The Rewind: Say YES!
#47 The Rewind:
Last week I talked with my friend Allison about our experience at Younglife Camp last summer. God urged us to say yes and do something out of our comfort zone and invited us into an adventure with Him. It turned out to be just what we both needed.
I hope today encourages you to step out of your comfort zone into whatever God is asking you to do.

#46 A Conversation about Camp
#46 A Conversation about Camp.
This week, I sit down with Alison Egert. We’re two moms who said, “Yes” to God when He asked us to serve at a Younglife camp this past summer. See, by saying “yes” we also agreed to a very long bus ride and a week away with a bunch of teens (who didn’t have their phones). We thought this was S.E.R.V.I.N.G the Lord. But, what we both learned is that really the Lord was blessing us. I hope this episode reminds you that God can and does show up in unexpected places.

So relatable!
Been following Laura for quite a few years! I was very thrilled to hear about her making a podcast! I love how she talks about things that we can relate like singleness, friendship, hardships and where you find God in your everyday life! My favorite episode has been the singleness one with Courtney! Omge! Definitely impacted me! Thank you so much for sharing with us!
Casual Informative
This is a perfect format for Laura. It is personal, casual but delivers a message or more than one. It’s nice to be able to listen when you can, at home on the go etc. Keep up the good work. Thanks
