133: How to Rebuild Your Family After Divorce: Greg Hill Jr.'s Story of Hope & Healing | Part 2

What would you do if the legal system told you that you—your child’s own parent—had no right to be in their life? In today’s powerful episode, Megan Babcock sits down with Greg Hill Jr., CEO and co-founder of Our Children Have Rights, to unpack a journey that began in heartbreak and ended in purpose. After losing all access to his newborn son through a mediation he didn’t understand, Greg spiraled into despair… until he made a decision that changed everything. Rather than give up, he educated himself, fought strategically, and transformed his pain into a movement that’s now helping families across the nation protect their children’s right to have access to both parents. This two-part conversation explores emotional collapse, legal navigation, nervous system regulation, parental identity, and rebuilding life with purpose after injustice. Part 2 shifts from survival to strategy. Greg walks listeners through the pillars behind Our Children Have Rights: ✅ Education – Learn your state laws, parenting statutes, and how mediation actually works. ✅ Mindset & Regulation – Stabilize your nervous system, get therapy or mentorship, and avoid reactive behaviors that harm your case. ✅ Legal Readiness – Use documentation tools, monitored communication apps, and community legal partnerships—including resources for parents who can’t afford attorneys.OCHR now takes a fully holistic approach, connecting parents to job support, housing networks, emotional health resources, early learning coalitions, and bar associations for legal aid. Greg reminds listeners that children thrive when BOTH parents are stable and involved—and that means healing the parent, not just winning a case. In his words: “I can’t walk into the promised land for you—but I can walk you to the edge and show you the way in.”About Greg Hill Jr.: He's the author of Our Children Have Rights, a practical, accessible guide that breaks down the legal and emotional journey of custody from a parent-to-parent perspective. 132: From Broken to Brave: How One Father’s Pain Turned Into a Movement

In Part 1, Greg shares how he became a father, relocated to support co-parenting, and then watched his world collapse when mediation ruled that he would pay $1,141/month—with zero overnight custody. Shock turned to shame, then into a dark season of daily drinking and emotional isolation. But everything shifted when he realized that his pain-driven paralysis was costing his son a present father.Determined to protect his child’s right to access both parents, Greg fired his legal team, immersed himself in state law, filed motion after motion (over 70), and learned how to speak in legal terms that courts respect: stability, documentation, best interest of the child. The result? His custody shifted from 0% to 50/50, and child support was corrected from $1141 to $124. That win opened his eyes: most parents lose not because they don’t love their children, but because they don’t understand the system. And that realization lit the spark for something bigger.About Greg Hill Jr.: He's the author of Our Children Have Rights, a practical, accessible guide that breaks down the legal and emotional journey of custody from a parent-to-parent perspective. 131: How God Turned My Deepest Shame into a Ministry of Healing feat. Amy Dial | Part 2

Megan sits down with author and coach Amy Dial for a raw, redemptive conversation about growing up in rule-keeping religion, stumbling into shame and secrecy, and encountering Jesus in the darkest hour. Amy traces the slow drift from performance-based faith into an affair, a crisis pregnancy, and a plan that ended with her on an abortion-clinic table—followed by the unmistakable voice of God interrupting everything: “Remember who you are.” Across two episodes, Megan and Amy unpack how condemnation differs from conviction, why spiritual warfare is real (and practical), and how identity in Christ becomes the doorway to healing, freedom, and legacy. Amy’s story moves from hiding to holy boldness as she now mentors women, integrates identity work with nervous-system care, and advocates for compassion-first, truth-anchored support for mothers and families. Part 2: An unexpected pregnancy turns the pressure into a crisis. Amy recounts two trips to an abortion clinic: a mysteriously “missing” location, a homeless man’s sign reading “God loves you and your baby,” and finally, on the procedure table, a breakthrough—Jesus’ words in her spirit: “Remember who you are.” She bolts upright; the plan collapses. As she exits, the Lord asks her to look back—planting a lifelong compassion for women in similar pain. The next years include divorce, running, high performance at work, and deep shame—until a slow rebuild with God. A pivotal identity exercise exposes the core lie (“unworthy”); God names her “priceless.” From there, Amy learns to live from covenant authority, practice forgiveness, dismantle agreements with lies, and regulate her nervous system while renewing her mind in Scripture. Today she mentors women to become trauma-informed, truth-anchored, and spiritually equipped.About Amy: Amy Dial is the author of Ring of Fire, a speaker, and the founder of Fit for the Kingdom, where she helps women rebuild identity and wellbeing—spirit, soul, and body. 130: Escaping the Trap of Religion: Finding the Father’s Heart After Brokenness

Part 1: Amy describes a loving home shaped by heavy church involvement—and a heart shaped by fear. She accepted Jesus young, but her faith operated like a checklist: be “good,” look put-together, don’t fail. That performance lens followed her into early marriage, motherhood, and ministry habits that looked right but left her empty. Under stress, unhealed wounds (unworthiness, fear, pride) met a well-timed lie: “Did God really say?” Boundaries slid. Conviction was ignored. An affair began. Amy’s inner world hardened—anger, isolation, and spiritual numbness—while the outer mask stayed polished. Part 1 closes with her acknowledging how ignorance of spiritual warfare and identity made her vulnerable, and how the enemy’s strategy—tiny compromises, weaponized shame—was steadily advancing.About Amy: Amy Dial is the author of Ring of Fire, a speaker, and the founder of Fit for the Kingdom, where she helps women rebuild identity and wellbeing—spirit, soul, and body. 129: Stop Striving, Start Hearing: Breaking Free from Lies, Finding Peace in the Presence of God | Part 2

When life doesn’t match what God promised, do we pull back—or press in? In this two-part conversation, host Megan Babcock sits down with Melanie Cox—author of You Have to Know, entrepreneur, and Jesus-loving truth-teller—whose life demonstrates how to worship in the fire, confront lies with Scripture-anchored truth, and discover that obedience is still the path to peace, especially when the heat turns up.  From infertility and a year of despair to unfiltered gratitude that re-wired her words and worldview, from literal fires to courtroom battles and parenting meltdowns, Melanie shows how intimacy with God becomes practical: take every thought captive, repent quickly, forgive completely, and align language with heaven. Megan also shares her own two-year wilderness—circling courthouses in prayer, anointing doors in radical obedience, and witnessing God’s restoration with her daughter—illustrating that the Father prepares us to carry what we’re asking Him for.Part 2:   The conversation shifts from surviving to equipping. Melanie shares why she wrote You Have to Know: after difficult health news, she asked, “What must my kids know to meet me in heaven?” The result is a journal-style devotional of 20 bite-size truths that help families hear God, break agreement with lies, and walk confidently as beloved sons and daughters.  She unpacks a favorite framework from the book: approaching prayer —begin with praise, practice real forgiveness (not tallying “49 times,” but forgiveness to completion), repent quickly, and then present requests through the finished work of Jesus so the accuser has no agreement to leverage. Melanie also demystifies deliverance at home: simple daily practices—truth aloud, boundaries with love, and words that bless.  In a stunning testimony, Melanie recounts God’s multiplication: from “you’ll never carry a child” to five miracle babies—through bleeding, placenta previa, and a delivery room that shifted from coroner to crying newborn. Along the way, God’s “gentle whisper” (Elijah’s story) becomes the model for everyday intimacy—he’s not only in the fire and thunder, but in the closeness of friendship.Follow Melanie Cox: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/itsmelaniecox/ Website: https://melaniecox.org/ About Megan Babcock: Megan Babcock is a board-certified holistic nurse, board-certified nurse coach, and certified mental health coach with a specialization in trauma and crisis. 128: From Barren to Blessed: Melanie Cox's Journey Through Fire, Faith, and Miracles

Megan also shares her own two-year wilderness—circling courthouses in prayer, anointing doors in radical obedience, and witnessing God’s restoration with her daughter—illustrating that the Father prepares us to carry what we’re asking Him for. Part 1: Melanie opens with the raw middle of her story: childhood ache, the dream of mothering, and a crushing verdict—“you’ll never have children.” After months become years, despair swallows her purpose; she puts herself to bed, hair matted, Bible closed, convinced God has failed. Then a single verse cuts through the dark—“the night has been long, but morning is coming”—and she chooses surrender over self-protection.What changed? Words and worship. Melanie repents, begins capturing thoughts “to the obedience of Christ,” and wages war with gratitude in the small: “Thank you I got out of bed… thank you for the dog by my side… thank you for my husband’s love.” She reframes every taunt of the enemy with thanksgiving and truth. Surrender becomes total—no hidden “wheel” kept back from God—and peace follows. Megan shares a parallel refining: a two-year legal storm over her daughter. God trains her for spiritual warfare—moving from defending herself to radical obedience and regulation (Eph. 6; 2 Cor. 10:3–6). She circles the courthouse weekly in prayer, anoints the doors, and watches God align “heaven’s court” with the earthly one. The outcome: restoration with her daughter and a deeper authority forged only in fire.Follow Melanie Cox: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/itsmelaniecox/ Website: https://melaniecox.org/About Megan Babcock: Megan Babcock is a board-certified holistic nurse, board-certified nurse coach, and certified mental health coach with a specialization in trauma and crisis. 127: Discovering the Power of Deliverance: How to Walk in True Spiritual Freedom | Part 2

There are seasons when faith feels like a checklist—and then there are moments when God interrupts the list and invites us closer. In this opening conversation, Megan sits down with Cathy Colver Garland to unpack “Revelationship,” a way of life where God reveals Himself not only in church services, but in kitchens, waiting rooms, and the quiet places of our ordinary days. Cathy shares pieces of her journey—from executive leadership in the business world to becoming a writer, teacher, and guide—describing how fear, identity struggles, and health crises became the very ground where God’s voice grew unmistakably clear.  Together, they explore how intimacy with Christ transforms the way we walk through suffering. Cathy describes obedience as love in motion, the practice of listening and responding even when the outcome is hidden. She offers language for discerning God’s presence in the middle of pain, and reminds us that identity in Christ is not an idea to memorize but a relationship to live inside of—one that anchors us when everything else is shaking.  In Part 2, the conversation becomes beautifully practical. Cathy traces the early-church normalcy of deliverance and explains why freedom is not a spectacle but a steady way of life with Jesus. She talks through the role of confession, renouncing agreements with lies, and praying with the Holy Spirit for clarity and breakthrough. With pastoral clarity, she addresses generational patterns and personal trauma—not as labels to carry, but as places where the Lord loves to reveal His power and restore identity.  Megan and Cathy map out what everyday freedom can look like: listening prayer that invites God’s perspective, simple steps for breaking harmful agreements, and replacing false narratives with the truth of who we are in Christ. Cathy’s heart is to make theology livable—to help us pass on a vibrant, experiential faith to the next generation, not only through our words but through our transformed lives.  As you finish this episode, consider inviting the Lord into one specific place that feels stuck. Ask Him what’s true, say it out loud, and take the next small step of obedience. If this conversation encouraged you, subscribe, leave a review, and send it to a friend who’s ready for hope and healing. Your story matters, your freedom matters, and you are not walking it alone.  Follow Cathy:https://www.instagram.com/gracefullgarlands/https://www.threads.com/@gracefullgarlandshttps://www.facebook.com/gracefullgarlandshttps://www.facebook.com/seekrevelationshiphttps://www.instagram.com/seekrevelationshipAbout Megan Babcock: Megan Babcock is a board-certified holistic nurse, board-certified nurse coach, and certified mental health coach with a specialization in trauma and crisis.
