Jackass Letters: The Podcast is a Christopher L. Jorgensen production dedicated to examining correspondence with real people and companies. It is equal parts spoof, satire, parody and cultural criticism.
Pour Encourager les Autres
A poorly produced episode where there are too many errors to count, but if you're real bored you could try. The first three are some of my favorite responses or letters, and the last one is fairly new on the website. Obviously the pandemic makes things more difficult, so this is the best I can do for you. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
Go Ahead, I’m Listening
Christopher reads letters to Lysol, Big Cat Rescue, Exotic Feline Rescue Center, Deadwood, Congressman Steve King, Luxor, and Mad Mex. All have replies except for Steve King and Mad Mex.
How to Dress in Wartime
Christopher reads a variety of letters most of which have replies and he reads those too because he is literate and likes to show off. All of these letters were written and sent prior to our most recent pandemic, but a few replies were recently received. They sat unopened until all coronaviruses were dead. I will risk a lot for you, but not illness or death. No, I am not kidding. You don't pay me enough!
I’ve Seen You Somewhere Before
Christopher reads a handful of his favorite letters and does his best to entertain. This episode features a guest reading by Si Dawson as well as brand new artwork by Kenny Durkin. "Write a Letter" theme song by Josh Millard. Letters to: National Miniature Donkey Association, Cockapoo Club of America, Bain Capital, a fan letter to Christopher Moore, and Doctors Oz and Phil, as well as a letter to that rightwing hack Dennis Miller. The majority of this episode are unanswered letters from the jackassletters.com Dead Letter Office, but the Anthony Imperioli letters both have replies. Good ones too!
