Thank you!!!
Finally some long overdue respect is paid for the classic reality show Murder In Small Town X. These guys are knowledgeable of the series inside and out. And let’s not forget to say they’re also absolutely hysterical. Love this pod. Great find for a true reality tv junkie such as myself.
YES YES YES!
As someone who loved Murder in Smalltown X, which most people in my life seem to only vaguely remember, it made me so happy to see this podcast existed!! My 14 year old is watching the episodes with me, and it’s so fun to relive it all 20 years later (god, I feel so old). Her commentary mirrors the hosts’ (although she has some very strong opinions), and it’s the dose of nostalgia/pick-me-up we need. I love the feeling that I’m just sitting around watching the show with friends, and I’m looking forward to more episodes!
Also, according to my teen, this show was ahead of its time and unappreciated. Today, in the world of armchair detectives, true crime podcasts, and murder mystery subscription boxes, Murder in Smalltown X would be an instant success. I happen to agree.
