As of June 30, 2022, I've been in business for five years as a wedding and family photographer! Five Years seems like a significant milestone, doesn't it? Especially if we consider the fact that only 50% of small businesses survive five years or longer -- I'm giving myself a pat on the back! 
Business ownership has helped me grow in ways I never thought possible. It's introduced me to the kindest, most thoughtful, and creative people in my clients, fellow small business owners, and wedding vendors. While not all days on this journey have been easy, happy, or even beautiful, I can say with 100% certainty that I've been grateful for every single one of them. 
In honor of five years, I'm sharing the full story of Jana Musselwhite Photography. Everything from how I came to be a photographer, to how I booked my first wedding, to how I made the decision to leave my full-time job as a counselor to pursue this work full-time. And it's all being delivered to you in the form of a one-time podcast episode. Before you ask... no, hosting a podcast is not in my future plans! But I thought this would be the easiest way for whoever wants to hear the story to download and listen!
