Many thanks for the supporters at Patreon who keep me motivated ! Introducing "Japan Experts" Podcast by Miyuki SEGUCHI

Introducing "Japan Experts" Podcast by Miyuki SEGUCHI

Transcript Hello, I’m Kasumi Kobayashi. Thank you for listening Japanese classical literature audiobooks. Today, I’d like to introduce a new podcast created by Mme Miyuki Seguchi, who is a journalist and licensed guide. A couple of days ago, I had a chat with her and was impressed by her passion for exploring and sharing Japanese culture worldwide.  My dear listeners, Japanese tradition is declining and approaching its extinction parallel to its aging population. Many skilled masters of traditional arts and crafts have no heir.  But the hope is, we have an ardent person like Miyuki, who is excellent in presenting authentic - still alive - tradition in Japan ! If you are interested and eventually visit Japan to go to, for example, Japanese Puppet Theatre 人形浄瑠璃, you’d save it from disappearance.  Her podcast, Japan Experts, is reachable via iTune and other platforms.https://anchor.fm/japan-expertsThank you for listening and have a good day !

Very soothing

This is the first podcast I was able to find that was just Japanese. Her voice is so smooth and relaxing. I meditate to these chapters and listen to them while I fall asleep to practice my Japanese.

Spoken in Japanese!

I haven’t been able to find any other podcast stories spoken in Japanese. So glad there is at least one! The speaker has a really nice voice to listen to as well!

Pleasant and helpful

If you’re intermediate or just like how calm her voice is this is a really great pic. She posts all the copyright free material she reads in her descriptions so you can follow along if you need. Also the text has furigana over the kanji which is very helpful. It doubles as something I can study and calm myself to.
