JB Dominates In Celtics Win Boston Celtics Game Day Recap

The Celtics beat the Timberwolves 104-102 in a rollercoaster of a game. JB absolutely dominated this game from start to finish. He had 35pts 10reb including 15 of those pts coming int he 4th quarter. He was 12-24 from the field and 5-8 from 3 and couldn't be stopped. He was super aggressive getting downhill in this one and came up huge down the stretch in this win. Jayson Tatum had another off night shooting BUT was much more aggressive getting downhill and it resulted in him going 14-16 from the FT Line. With that being said, he was still 4-16 from the field and 0-8 from 3 so to say he struggled is an understatement.
This was a game where the Celtics won because of JB and the defense. Holding this Timberwolves team who averages 115 to just 102 on 44% from the field and 33% from 3 which are both well below their team averages is impressive. Every single starter for the Celtics chipped in a steal with Tatum and Smart having 2 each. Then you have White and Horford with 2 blocks each and Tatum joining that party with one of his own. This was a really strong defensive game through and through. The Celtics still need to get out of the iso game which did plague them a bit in this one but most of the reason we ended the game with just 20ast is actually because the Celtics just shot soo poorly (40% from the field and 30% from 3) and not necessarily because of the iso ball. Guys just weren't hitting shots tonight which makes this win even more impressive. The Celtics have just 12 games left in the regular season and have a lot of issues to address come playoff time.
