Jersey Reads The Classics Rosanna De Candia

I was looking for something light but not too fluffy that could take my mind off the currently lonely pandemic work drive existence in LA. I got more than I expected when choosing this podcast. The host Rosie is funny, witty, raw, entertaining and inspiring with her real, but hopeful take on life inspired by the classics. I laughed out loud a few times at her musings when reading Alice in Wonderland. She's a talented reader and her voice along with her accent is enjoyable to listen to. At the end of each podcast she shares a type of spiritual psychology with the listener, applying the classics to modern day life. I loved hearing about her audition for the X-Factor! It’s a great blend of funny and meaningful. It's light, funny, deep, modern and classic!

I absolutely adore this podcast!! Narrator Rosie De Candia is such an engaging host. She makes the story come to life in an entirely new way and provides both hysterical commentary AND unexpected inspiration at the end of each chapter. As a native New Jerseyan myself, listening to this podcast feels like going home. I can't wait to hear what comes next in Alice's story and the other books to come!! Would highly recommend!!
