Johnny Crowder Vroom Vroom Veer Stories

Growing up in an abusive home, Johnny sought refuse in his bed with books, art, and writing; letting with imagine better worldsJohnny suffered from crippling mental health issues like OCD, schizophrenia, and depression; started formal treatment in high schoolOCD manifested like thinking if he stepped on a crack that blades inside the cracks would cut his feet; if he sat near a window he knew a sniper would be able to take him outSchizophrenia for Johnny had very mundane symptoms; like knowing he had purchased a printer and telling his friends he has a printer; and then going home and finding no printer; he had to question if every little was realWorked many odd jobs like warehouse labor; landed on copy writing and editing; worked freelance and as a job; all while touring with his band While working on his psychology degree and volunteering in the mental health field; learned about neuroplasticity; used sticky notes around his house to provide "surprises" to remind him to think better thoughtsOver time, your brain will tune out a sticky note and you will stop noticing them; so the next evolution was sending text messages to people at random times; people responded with; "How did you know I needed that?" He didn't, but the brain filled in the blanks and the text helped them think better thoughts
