The Spurs officially announced today Josh Primo has entered the NBA's health & safety protocols and will miss the remained of the NBA Summer League. We will share our reactions as now both Jeremy Sochan and now Josh Primo have been stricken with what is presumably  Covid-19. 

Recap Of The Spurs Vs Warriors Summer League Game 

The Spurs fall short and lose to the Warriors by a final score of 86-85 as the Silver and Black saw Blake Wesley score a team-high 22 PTS in thirty minutes of play. This was followed by big man Darius Day scoring 17 PTS followed by Joshua Primo and  Josh Carlton who both scored 10 PTS each.  

Tony Parkers Comments During The Spurs Vs Warriors Game

During the Spurs Vs Warriors game, Tony Parker was interviewed and said "I have no idea what we are doing as a franchise" when he was asked about the Spurs young guards Josh Primo, Blake Wesley, and Malaki Branham. We will react to Tony Parker's comments as fans have made a lot about his comments that could have been taken out of context. 

DeJounte Murray's Comments During The Spurs Vs Warriors Game 

During the Spurs Vs Warriors game, DeJounte Murray was interviewed and said that he and Coach Pop had already talked about him being traded to the Atlanta Hawks. We will react to DeJounte Murray's comments and also talk about the trade details including the unprotected picks.

Spurs Cap Space Situation After The Dejounte Murray Trade

The San Antonio Spurs have roughly twenty-two million dollars of cap space and have been talked about as a team that could possibly be involved in a three-team deal. The Spurs could take on a bad contract to pick up more first-round picks or do nothing and have cap space to pay some of their rookies who will be coming off their contracts after the end of next season. We will also talk if Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassell, and Jakob Poeltl fit the team's current timeline.

Today the Spurs announced they have signed Dominick Barlow to a two-way contract which means the team has one more two-way roster spot available. The Spurs have yet to officially sign Gorgui Dieng but expect them to make that announcement shortly.  The big news of the day was the Spurs officially unveiled their classic jerseys and we will share the fan reactions as well as our reactions. The rumor that was released by Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report today was Spurs longtime assistant coach Chip Engelland will be leaving the team at the conclusion of his contract at the end of the upcoming season.
