Journalism: Dr. Julie Williams A Few of My Favorite Things

    • Leisure

Samford University professor and accomplished journalism historian Dr. Julie Williams offers her insight into what she teaches, her own personal relationship with media history, and her prognosis and historical perspective on the state of journalism. A big portion of what I just mentioned above is exclusively talked about on Spotify (You're heading over there after this preview, right?)

As a point of information, Williams is the 2021 Kobre Award winner for Lifetime Achievement in Journalism History. This was given to her by the American Journalism Historians Association (AJHA), an organization she was once the president of.

Below is Dr. William's website. There, you will be directed to find out more about A Rare Titanic Family, her other journalistic works, and more.

Last but certainly not least, a much needed shoutout to Diamond Style for the music in this episode is deserved. I used the same music for my podcast last season and I have always loved it. Diamond Style's YouTube channel.
