Everyone has experienced hurt — betrayal, abandonment, rejection, loss. You can't build your wall high enough or thick enough to avoid getting hurt. 

If we are not careful, our hurt can shape us. Sometimes we've held on to hurt so long that it becomes our identity. God wants to heal us because hurt holds us back from everything that he wants us to have in our life.

What do you do when everywhere you turn it feels like pain keeps piling on? 
What do you do when it feels like you can't just catch a break?
What do you do when your circumstances seem unfair? 

We're continuing to teach through the words of Jesus on the cross. His words offer the path to the real peace we’re looking for. This week, we're teaching about suffering. 

We are all chasing that feeling. 
The feeling that “all is right with the world.”

Less stress. 
Stillness. 
Contentment. 

Whatever you call it, we are all Chasing Peace. 

But what if the way we are thinking about peace is all wrong?

Through the words of Jesus on the cross, he offers us the path to the real peace.
