What do you do when all the beliefs and methods of parenting that you use in raising your older children are being challenged by your youngest child?
You desperately want to help your child, but you don't know how. What do you do?
That's the situation that my guest today was faced with. Lindsay Leiviska went through six challenging and painful years searching for answers to help her son manage his unpredictable and sometimes dangerous behaviors.
As she gained knowledge about her son from doctors and books, she also uncovered and worked through her own beliefs around parenting. All in hopes of helping her son.
On the other side of her incredible heart change and finding answers, she created her business called A Heart for All Students.
Lindsay truly has the heart to help children who think and process the world differently. She does this by equipping the amazing moms and dads who raise them with the tools to manage difficult behavior.
We talk about. . .
What happened when her adopted son was 18 months of age that radically changed everything for her family. The challenges and struggles she went through navigating her son’s unpredictable behaviors and desperately trying to find answers. What trauma can look like in children. Why it’s important for adoptive parents to have the right tools and knowledge. And so much more! Lindsay on Instagram
